  • Side effects

Let’s jump right in.

Pros and Cons

Here we have the pros and cons of Six Star Testosterone Booster:

  • Rhodiola reduces cortisol which has a positive effect on your testosterone
  • Ginkgo can enhance blood flow
  • No proprietary blends

  • Only 3 ingredients
  • Missing vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, and other key T-boosting ingredients
  • At only 5mg per serving, boron isn’t strong enough to affect your testosterone

Who Makes Six Star Testosterone Booster?

Six Star Pro Nutrition is the company that produces this testosterone booster.

They’ve been in the game for quite some time now, and have a number of athletes as brand ambassadors.

However, we weren’t able to find much info about company history on their website. We could only see the products they offer, which include whey proteins and pre-workouts, along with a list of their sponsored athletes.

One thing we did find was that Six Star Pro Nutrition aims to deliver clinically-backed, premium supplements at a price that’s affordable to everyone. This became obvious as soon as we looked at their testosterone booster which retails at around $15 per bottle.

We find this to be a great policy – as long as the quality of the ingredients isn’t sacrificed. We’ll soon find out if that’s the case.

Six Star Testosterone Booster claims to help you:

  • Support testosterone naturally
  • Support exercise performance and strength gains

Like many testosterone boosters, its goal is to enhance your masculine qualities by boosting your key anabolic hormone. However, whether it was able to do this, we’ll find out below.

With only 3 ingredients in its formula, Six Star Testosterone booster is one of the simplest T enhancers we’ve seen. But believe it or not, it’s far from a weak supplement.

It uses ingredients that combat stress, and in turn, improve your testosterone levels and quality of life as a man. There are also ingredients which improve blood flow, which can positively affect your erections.

Lastly, we’re happy to report that Six Star doesn’t use any proprietary blends. This makes it easy for us to assess the safety and efficacy of this testosterone booster.

Six Star Ingredients

Rhodiola is an adaptogenic herb that helps you combat stress, improves your energy levels, and enhances your mood. It’s not exactly a testosterone booster per se, however, it can indirectly support it.

By reducing cortisol.

Cortisol is the main stress hormone. It plays many vital functions in your body, but when it’s chronically elevated, that’s when it causes problems.

One of the things cortisol does is it wrecks your hormones such as testosterone. So when cortisol is chronically high, testosterone is low.

Rhodiola can be useful in this scenario because it inhibits cortisol and in turn, gives your testosterone room to ‘breathe’. (3)

Ginkgo Biloba Extract

Ginkgo Biloba is primarily a nootropic supplement intended to enhance your mental performance. It achieves this through several mechanisms of action. The most important one is boosting brain blood flow.

As far as testosterone goes, there was a study involving diabetic rats. These rats suffered from impaired testosterone production due to type 2 diabetes. Giving them Ginkgo Biloba extract reduced this impairment. Ginkgo increased the number of lyedig cells in their testes, which led to higher levels of Luteinizing Hormone and testosterone. (1)

However, a human study showed different effects. After 14 days of supplementing with Ginkgo, these men’s androgen hormone levels didn’t increase – this includes testosterone. (2)

Ultimately, there’s a lack of human evidence to confirm any beneficial effects Ginkgo may have on your testosterone levels. We believe Six Star Test Booster could’ve used a proven ingredient here instead of gambling with Ginkgo.

Boron Citrate

Boron is an excellent addition to any testosterone booster, and here’s why…

It’s a trace mineral which is shown to positively affect your testosterone.

In doses of 10mg+ per day, it boosts testosterone concentrations in the blood. (4)

However, Six Star Testosterone Booster only uses 5mg of active boron, which is a too light dose to have an effect on your T.

Anything Missing?

You might have noticed that there are quite a few important ingredients missing in Six Star T Booster formula. These include ashwagandha, vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, I3C, and Mucuna Pruriens. Six Star Testosterone Booster has also included only 5mg of active boron, while the studies that showed boron’s benefits on testosterone used at least 10mg per day. (4)

How to Take (Dosage)

The label says to take 2 capsules, 2 times per day with water.

Don’t take more than 4 capsules of Six Star T Booster over the course of 24h.

The positive thing about this T booster is that it’s very simple to take.

You can take it at whatever time you want, however, we’d advise taking one serving in the morning and another in the late afternoon.

Some anecdotal reports suggest that Rhodiola can cause very vivid dreams which can disrupt sleep. However, if you aren’t worried about that, then go ahead and take it whenever suits you best.

Another thing worth mentioning that it’s missing 1 more daily serving. While 2 servings per day are not bad, 3 would be much better, in terms of supplying your body with the ingredients 24/7.

Six Star Testosteorne Booster Side Effects

There are only 3 ingredients in Six Star Testosterone booster, as we mentioned. None of them are shown to cause any major side effects. However, it’s worth pointing out that some users experience vivid dreams when taking Rhodiola and Ginkgo.

Ginkgo has cholinergic properties and enhances acetylcholine in your brain, which is well-known to promote extremely vivid dreams. One easy way to reduce these effects is to simply take the supplement earlier in the day.

1 bottle of Six Star Testosterone Booster will cost you $14.97. It’s one of the cheaper testosterone boosters we’ve come across. The price reflects the strength very well in this case. If you aren’t looking for anything spectacular but still want decent results in the gym, Six Star Testosterone Booster could be your answer.

Is Six Star Testosterone Booster Good Value For Money?

As we saw, Six Star Testosterone Booster is quite cheap. It won’t turn you into an “anabolic machine” but will certainly help support your masculine health and reduce stress. One bottle of 60 capsules will last you a whole month if you take 2 per day.

However, if you take 4 per recommendations, then it will only last you 15 days, which means that a month’s worth of Six Star Testosterone Booster is around $30.

Now, this is a bit higher price, and we believe this is where it stops being a good value for money. However, it’s ultimately up to you to decide how much you’re willing to spend on a testosterone booster of this grade.

If you’re looking for economic testosterone enhancer that can support your general health and possibly reduce stress, then Six Star Testosterone Booster won’t disappoint you.

It’s definitely not as strong as some of the top T boosters out there, but considering its price, it’s more than fair.

It’s a good aid if you already work out in the gym and eat clean. It can help you reach your goals faster. But on its own, it may not be strong enough to give you any significant results.
