PRODUCT REVIEW: Super Test Maximum

PRODUCT REVIEW: Beast Super Test Maximum.

From Beast Sports Nutrition comes Super Test Maximum. A testosterone booster with quite a lengthy name, as well as a lengthy list of ingredients.

In our Beast Super Test Maximum review, we’ll go through a few of our key criteria to see if it’s worth your time and money.

On first glance, Beast Super Test Maximum does appear like a promising testosterone booster. It boasts a natural formula with some familiar ingredient names in there.

Let’s take a closer look.

Pros and Cons

Beast Super Test Maximum generally has more positive than negative things about it. However, we’re of the opinion that there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Aside from ashwagandha and boron, it’s missing more proven T-enhancers. There’s no vitamin D, magnesium, or other nutrients that would stimulate your testes to spurt out some more T.

That said, the formula really nailed it when it comes to achieving hormonal balance in terms of reducing cortisol, and potentially even estrogen.

Take a look for yourself:

  • Reduces cortisol
  • Supports healthy hormonal balance
  • Great for general health & detoxification
  • Boron and Ashwagandha enhance testosterone, strength & muscle growth

  • Lack of proven testosterone boosters
  • Several ineffective ingredients
  • Relatively high price

Who Makes Super Test Maximum?

Super Test Maximum is produced by Beast Sports Nutrition.

They aren’t your average supplement company. They’ve been around since 1995. Since their inception, they’ve had a long time to work on and perfect their formulas.

Clearly they’ve been doing something right since they have been able to stay on top of their game for so long.

Let’s see if their test booster, Super Test Maximum, has what it takes to live up to their standards.

Beast Super Test claims to help you:

  • Raise testosterone
  • Reduce estrogen
  • Boost blood flow by enhancing nitric oxide levels
  • Support kidney and liver function

It’s a general health supplement in addition to being a testosterone booster, which becomes clear as soon as you look at the ingredients.

Speaking of which…

Beast Super Test Maximum Ingredients

Beast Super Test Maximum has one large ingredient formula.

However, most of them don’t have any direct benefits for testosterone.

Beast Super Test Maximum seems to focus on supporting your hormonal balance by reducing cortisol and estrogen, which is great; it’s the lack of direct testosterone boosters that make us doubt this product’s strength.

Beast Super Test Ingredients

Ashwagandha is an ingredient that doesn’t necessarily increase your testosterone directly. However, what it does it creates a hormonal environment where you testosterone has room to grow.

Let me explain what I mean by that…

One of the ways Ashwagandha works is by reducing cortisol, the stress hormone. This changes the hormonal homeostasis of the body, where you have more of one hormone, and less of another. (1)

In this case, you have less cortisol, and more testosterone, since the two negatively react to one another.

Simply put, Ashwagandha is a great choice here.

Fenugreek is one of the few ingredients in Beast Super Test Maximum that will increase your testosterone levels. But the way it does it is rather surprising.

See, Fenugreek will sacrifice DHT, another important male hormone, in order to keep your T levels high. How smart this is, we aren’t sure, because both hormones are important for your masculine health. (2)

Shilajit is a natural material that contains various minerals. It’s thought to support male health, however, there’s no human evidence it can increase your testosterone. We think Super Test Maximum could have made a better ingredient choice here. (3)

Studies show that boron can in fact raise your testosterone levels, but you need high enough doses to have an effect. Luckily, Beast Super Test Maximum has 10mg, which is exactly the dose which studies have shown to raise T. (4)

5a Hydroxy Laxogenin

This is a natural ingredient sometimes found in mustard. Some experts speculate it could help with hormonal balance. Similarly to Ashwagandha, it might be able to bring cortisol levels down.

But again, those are just speculations and firm evidence on this ingredient and testosterone is yet to be seen. It’s not a harmful ingredient, but it needs more research to deserve a place in a testosterone booster.

“S7” Proprietary Blend

The good news is, this is the only proprietary blend in the product. The bad news is, the ingredients enhance your general health but don’t affect testosterone.

There’s also an issue with the lack of transparency in the proprietary blend. The doses of ingredients in it are hidden. You can only see the total combined dose. The producers could easily put trace amounts of good ingredients while filling up the blend with cheap fillers to cut the cost – and it will be impossible for us to tell.

Here are the ingredients in this blend:

  • Green Coffee Bean – This is a good ingredient for a fat burner, not so much for a T booster. It contains Chlorogenic Acid which can improve your fat metabolism.
  • Green Tea Leaves – Again, a great fat burning ingredient, but doesn’t have any benefit for your male hormone.
  • Turmeric – Reduces inflammation and might improve gut health.
  • Tart Cherry – Helps you sleep by providing your body with melatonin.

Japanese Knotweed

Japanese Knotweed is a source of the famous Resveratrol, the so-called ‘anti-aging’ molecule.

We don’t know about anti-aging, but Resveratrol can reduce your inflammation and improve blood flow. (5)

This may help with nutrient delivery and how quickly nutrients get absorbed in your body.

DIM is a risky ingredient to put in a testosterone booster. Simply because the research on it is conflicting. DIM is an isolated metabolite found in broccoli.

Typically, your body gets it from Indole-3-Carbinol, which is also naturally found in broccoli. I3C breaks down in your body spontaneously together with other beneficial molecules. This offers a number of benefits, including lower estrogen levels.

However, taking DIM alone can actually produce a counter-effect, especially in high doses. In other words, it can increase your estrogen activity. (6)

We don’t yet know whether this is true or not because the evidence is conflicting. It might be that DIM is just as beneficial for reducing estrogen as eating the whole broccoli. But until more reputable evidence comes out, it’s best to play it safe with this ingredient.

Pumpkin Extract

Pumpkin extract may improve your prostate health. It’s a good addition to a T booster for overall men’s health enhancement.

Stinging Nettle

Stinging nettle contains certain compounds that can reduce bening prostatic hyperplasia, which is a term for an enlarged prostate. It’s also great for nasal allergies. It’s been rumored that it can help with testosterone, however, research doesn’t agree with this. (7)

N-Acetyl Cysteine

N-Acetyl Cysteine or simply NAC is a general health supplement. Specifically, it supports your liver health. NAC is needed for the production of glutathione, which is the strongest antioxidant in your body.

A great ingredient to help with detoxification and general health, which inevitably ties into healthy testosterone production. (8)

Cranberry Extract

Cranberry juice is shown to have a wide range of beneficial compounds. These include antioxidants that reduce inflammation and fight pathogens. Cranberry extract is a great ingredient…

if you’re a woman who wants to get rid of urinary tract infections. Not that great for testosterone. (9)

Anything Missing?

In terms of reducing estrogen and stress hormones, Beast Super Test Maximum has pretty much everything we’d like to see in a testosterone booster.

However, the key word here is testosterone. There are a few of our favorite ingredients missing from this supplement that would help to boost your male hormone:

Missing Ingredients

  • Vitamin D
  • Magnesium
  • Mucuna Pruriens
  • Vitamin B6

How to Take (Dosage)

Beast Super Test Maximum serving size is 4 capsules. You take it all once per day and that’s it.

Some testosterone boosters, especially those at the top, prefer a different approach. They use 3 or 4 daily servings to keep your body supplied with the ingredients through day and night. Which makes sense when you think about it. How long can 1 serving stay in your body? Not very long, maybe several hours at best.

We would usually recommend splitting the dosage of Super Test Maximum into 1 capsule, 4 times daily. But since that’s not what the supplement label says, there must be a good reason why they opted for only 1 daily serving.

Ultimately, it’s always best to follow your supplement label to avoid any potential side effects.

Best Super Test Maximum Side Effects

Speaking of side effects, there aren’t any chemicals or harmful ingredients in Beast Super Test Maximum.

Despite its massive formula, it shouldn’t cause any side effects.

One small warning though is to not take Ashwagandha if you have an autoimmune disease. The reason for this is the following: Ashwagandha bolsters your immune system which is not a good thing if the immune system is attacking your own body.

One bottle of Beast Super Test Maximum will cost you $54.99. A lower price would reflect the true quality of this product. It’s undoubtedly a good T booster, but you get the feeling it’s not good enough to warrant $54.99 for one bottle.

Just looking at the ingredients and its formula, Beast Super Test Maximum is not a bad testosterone booster. Far from it. There are some amazing ingredients that enhance your general wellness. It may even enhance your energy and libido. But for a price of 55 bucks per bottle, there are better T boosters to be found.

Beast Super Test Maximum a solid product in terms of the benefits it offers. But the price is the big elephant in the room that some customers can’t look past. You get the feeling that the price doesn’t reflect its quality.

If you have the money and are happy with what it offers, then go for it. It’ll support your energy, sex drive, and general wellness.
