The 2019 CrossFit Games Rulebook Released

On the 7th of January, CrossFit HQ released the 2019 CrossFit Games Rulebook anticipated by everyone. The CrossFit Games competitive season is full of changes, which will affect athletes and teams during the season 2019.

You can read and learn the rules of CrossFit competition. The documents contain precise information for the 2019 season for both athletes to compete in the Open for fun or for those who hope to advance to the Online Qualifier or the Games.

Everything that has been added or modified in 2019, is highlighted in red and contains the word “new”.

The CrossFit Games organizers recommend reviewing the Rulebook precisely if you plan to participate in the 2019 season. Later this week, the registration for the Open starts.

The athletes are invited to the games through Sanctions and qualify for the Games via the Open.

The rulebook confirms that the top 20 individual males and 20 females all over the world in the Open and the top individual athletes in each recognized country will qualify. The winning female and male athlete from each of the 15 Sanctioned events for 2018 will be invited to compete at the CrossFit Games. Up to 4 individual athletes may get at-large bids to the Games at the discretion of CrossFit Inc.
